Private Member's Bill Further Dilutes UK Freedom of Information Act

Below is the text of my email to my MP. Copy and send to yours, modified if you wish.

Dear Mr Jenkins,
Can you explain to me why the Freedom of Information (Amendment) private members bill by Mr Mclean appears to be going through Parliament unopposed? Could I ask, while I am still entitled to, how you intend to vote on this bill and if your intention is to vote for the bill, why you wish to take away my right to know?
With the greatest of respect, can I remind you that you are a public servant who works for me as a member of your constituency?
